Key November 2025 Tax Deadlines for Individuals

As autumn draws to a close and the holiday season looms, it's crucial not to let tax deadlines fall off your radar. Staying ahead of your tax responsibilities ensures a stress-free year-end. Here's a breakdown of essential tax deadlines for individuals to keep in mind:

November 10 - Reporting Tips to Your Employer

Employees earning tips, if you’ve pocketed over $20 in tips during October 2025, it's mandatory to relay this information to your employer using IRS Form 4070 by November 10. Employers will handle FICA and income tax withholdings on these tips. If your regular paycheck doesn’t cover these withholdings, the uncollected amount will appear in box 8 of your annual W-2 form, to be reconciled at tax filing.
